Meet the Community Liaisons!

Staying connected to the community is a critical element in realizing the success of the Red Line project. As a result the Community Liaisons play a key role in the MTA's efforts to engage the community and enhance awareness of the Red Line project. To fulfill the project's vision, they continuously work closely with neighborhoods in the project area and serve as link between the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and communities in the Red Line corridor.

Additionally, integrating the Community Liaisons into the Red Line project is one of the goals outlined in the Baltimore City Red Line Community Compact. The Compact is an agreement among the communities in the Red Line corridor, Baltimore City, the MTA, and other stakeholders to make the Red Line a catalyst for economic and environmental benefits in the project's neighborhoods.
