Station Area Advisory Committees

SAAC Overview

The Maryland Transit Administration would like to thank all of the citizens who submitted nominations to become a member of a Baltimore Red Line Station Area Advisory Committee (SAAC). Seventeen SAAC's have been developed to cover the 19 planned Red Line stations.

The SAACs meet regularly, representing communities throughout the corridor, and ensuring that the MTA's Red Line Station planning process is inclusive of all interested parties. The entire community will benefit from the time and attention these individuals will give to making each Red Line Station an asset. In addition to the SAAC meetings, there will be opportunities for additional community input through periodic public workshops. The SAACs will also be charged with supporting additional mechanisms to keep the community informed. These tools will include regular website updates and consistent dialogue with area community stakeholders.

Individual SAAC information mailboxes, which contain meeting notes and other project information, are included on this page. The Baltimore Red Line is one of the most exciting opportunities to improve mobility and create economic opportunity for the Baltimore region. Please stay connected as we build this critical transportation link.
